Industrial plugs, sockets, and socket boxes that you are not familiar with: socket box section

Release time:2016-11-22

According to the installation method of the product, socket distribution boxes can be divided into two categories: mobile and fixed.

1、 Mobile socket distribution box

The mobile socket distribution box is convenient for mobile operation and is suitable for secondary plugging. Mobile socket distribution boxes are further divided into the following categories:

1. Portable and portable socket distribution boxes

The portable and portable socket distribution boxes shown in the figure below can be equipped with plugs, but their cable lines are short and should not be too far from the plugged socket. The socket distribution box shown in Figure 1 (1), (3), and (4) uses appliance sockets as inputs, and the box is separated from the cable. Therefore, the length of the cable can be selected, which is suitable for places far from the power source. It is also convenient to carry the box and wires separately.

The distribution box socket shown in Figure 1 (2) (5) is installed on the side, and there is a handheld handle on the box cover. The handheld handle is designed in a π shape and can wrap the input cable around it. The box is made of Ever GUM permanent rubber, and the switch is hidden inside the box, which can be used in harsh environments that are prone to collisions.

2. Hand pushed wheel socket distribution box

The socket distribution box shown in Figure 2 is equipped with a main switch and a multi branch switch, with multiple output sockets, high current, and a large volume. Using PC engineering plastics. The feet are designed with two wheels and can be pushed by hand, making them flexible and convenient to use.

2、 Fixed socket distribution box

Fixed socket distribution boxes are usually fixed in a certain position, such as on walls or electrical equipment, and larger ones are directly fixed on the ground with brackets to provide power to nearby electrical users. Fixed socket distribution boxes are divided into the following categories:

1. Box type socket distribution box

Box type socket distribution boxes have fewer output branches and the smallest volume. They are usually made of plastic boxes with switch covers, and are often used for indoor individual equipment or temporary electrical plug connections.

2. Combination box type socket distribution box

Figure 3 shows a combination box type socket distribution box, which can be freely designed and arranged in combination with multiple branches. The socket arrangement is very compact, and the box volume is not large, occupying less space. The box is made of high-quality engineering plastic and can be perforated with a switch cover.

3. Wall mounted socket distribution box

The wall mounted socket distribution box shown in Figure 4 is equipped with a high current main switch and a branch switch, with multiple output branches and various specifications of sockets. The box configuration can be freely selected, suitable for fixing on the wall.

4. Distribution box for film and television sockets

The film and television socket distribution box shown in Figure 5 is equipped with a main switch and more branch switches, both single-phase and three-phase, with a larger output current. It is used for large-scale maintenance or construction sites. The film and television distribution box shown in Figure 5 complies with the GB11918 \ GB11919 standards and is equipped with a main switch and more branch switches, both single-phase and three-phase, providing a suitable power interface for multiple electrical equipment. It is used in film and television shooting sites, large-scale theater performances, cinemas and other outdoor locations to provide a shortcut for power supply.

3. Wall mounted socket distribution box

The Figure 6 series of ship refrigerated containers comply with the German D/N VDE 0623 standard, EN60309 European standard, and ISO1492-2 international standard. This socket is equipped with a mechanical interlocking device, and the plug can only be inserted when the isolation switch is in the "OFF" position, that is, when the power is cut off, while the powered plug cannot be pulled out, ensuring safety. There are various combinations of four, five, six, etc. The power supply is led from the distribution room and distributed to various sockets through the incoming box, without interference with each other.
