China International Industry Expo (hereinafter referred to as "China International Industry Expo") is an international industrial exhibition with equipment manufacturing as the main body of exhibition and trade, co sponsored by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the Shanghai Municipal People's Government and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, co organized by the China Machinery Industry Federation, and undertaken by Shanghai Donghao Lansheng International Service Trade (Group) Co., Ltd. It is held in Shanghai from Tuesday to Saturday in the first week of November every year. Since its establishment in 1999, the China International Fair for Industry and Commerce has gone through sixteen years of development and innovation. Through professional, market-oriented, international, and branded operations, it has developed into the most influential international industrial brand exhibition in China's equipment manufacturing industry, certified by the International Exhibition Union UFI. It is an important window and economic and trade exchange and cooperation platform for China's industrial sector to face the world. Starting from 2015, the China International Fair for Industry and Commerce will move to the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai). The National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai) is located in the core area of the Hongqiao CBD in Shanghai, adjacent to the transportation hub of Hongqiao. It is currently the largest exhibition complex in the world, without any one.
The 17th China International Industrial Expo will be held from November 3rd to 7th, 2015 at the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai), with 9 major professional exhibitions covering an area of 230000 square meters. More than 2100 exhibitors will participate, and it is expected that more than 120000 domestic and foreign professional visitors will visit.

It will consist of nine professional exhibitions: "CNC Machine Tool and Metal Processing Exhibition", "Industrial Automation Exhibition", "Industrial Environmental Protection Technology and Equipment Exhibition", "Information and Communication Technology Application Exhibition", "New Energy and Electric Power Exhibition", "Energy Conservation and New Energy Vehicle Exhibition", "Industrial Robot Exhibition", "Science and Technology Innovation Exhibition", and "Aerospace Technology Exhibition".
